I saw Cali in our bedroom, wrapped in a blanket, huddled and shaking, trying to stay warm. I wrapped her up in another towel or blanket and took her to the vet. In some small way I was surprised to see her but very glad she was alive. The vet didn't indicate she would die or need to be euthanized, so I went about my business.
I was running around with a huge group of people, all around the ages of nineteen or twenty, and we were running all around this unfamiliar place with back alleys and underground paths. When a few of the members stopped and were being sick by the dumpsters (too much alcohol), I decided to run around another alleyway and meet them at the other end. I kept seeing them from afar and running in alternate directions and pathways because I couldn't seem to cross right over to get to them again. The place we were running in was completely filled with the most interestingly-dressed people...every once in awhile I'd get a close-up look at their ornate outfits. Everyone was in their early twenties or teens, it seemed, and they were smoking, drinking, dancing and acting outrageous in their flamboyant clothes. This was all outside in the alleyways and by chain-link fences.
