I saw Pat, but don't remember the context, or the location...
It seemed that everything was about Geoff. I was on my way somewhere and knew he'd be there; I was catching a glimpse of him; I was trying to get away from where I knew he would be arriving.
Later I walked into a computer room and everyone but Anthony hugged me. He was late getting me a flyer, and it was not very well done. I hugged the two women in the room. Someone had been raped and we were telling each other to stay safe. I said I'd experienced the same at the hands of my teacher. The large woman with long, straight, dishwater blonde hair expressed surprise. The second woman hugged me longer, wouldn't let go of me easily, which made me smile and hug her back with just as much energy. Anthony, I could see, was going to have more of a problem offering me a hug.
I was with Claire in art school. The focus seemed to be just film and video. I wandered halls and watched people at computers making films and videos. Finally I needed to catch my plane so I looked for a free computer and found one, then tried logging on to the website where I could print my boarding pass. Of course, the page had problems loading. It was already 5:30 p.m. and I didn't want to check my notes because I figured I might have already missed my flight.
