Ren had returned from Chile. I was surprised--and flattered--when I found that he had returned so we could resume a relationship. As soon as everything started to fall into place, he sauntered away from me with another woman. I understood immediately that nothing was as it seemed, and was disappointed I'd fallen for his ruse.
