From Quito, Ecuador

Night before last: I went to two different houses where the living room was given over to a certain type of art project. The second house was the white house with all the cactus out front. When I went in I discovered it belonged to Morgan. There were all these young men in one room working on computers or doing other tasks. I walked into the living room and it was set up very strategically. The point was that you entered the room and you were able to look around, open drawers, find clues, and solve a mystery of something that had occurred in the room. I was very impressed and began looking around. I noticed the blue carpet with black arrows, a ceiling fan, and the open drawers of the desk. I very much liked the idea of houses using their living rooms for art like this.

Last night: I was in the beginnings of a serious courtship with Curt. We were holding hands and staring each other in the eyes a lot, and he left class early to hang out with me, and I quit class early to hang out with him. He was going to take me skiing for the weekend, even if it meant I would not ski since I had never been before. I wanted to merely spend time with him and he agreed with me. It felt warm and sexy and sweet.
