Why are these words so damn beautiful?

Read all about Mount St. Helen's (possible) impending eruption, at The Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network.

Needless to say, I am thrilled. A good friend has offered to drive me as close as possible when it blows. Portland is close enough to score a good view, but we want a more visceral experience.
