What is it about lost toys that always makes them function as evidence?

This picture made me immediately sad. I mean really sad. It made me think of death. Death of what I'm not sure--just a big wave of death as soon as I saw the picture. The second image that came to me was that of a child, sobbing because she lost her bunny. I then immediately sympathized with the harried parent (probably late for something) scurrying all over the place searching for the errant tourquoise rabbit.

It makes me sad, too. A deep sense of loss - irretrievable loss. And like you, I also thought of the harried parent . . . sigh.

I must be evil because I immediately laughed. I wouldn稚 have thought about a lost stuffed bunny this way,until I read the text. I liked the new shed of light.
